Kaukokaipuu, 2017

Kaukokaipuu is a Finnish word referring to a feeling of nostalgia or homesickness for a country where we have never been to.

This poetic installation shows the fragments of a dreamed travel which is sublime, almost forgotten...

A distant memory from which only remains a frozen fraction within a glass box, like a precious and fragile memory.

This composition is an example that can be declined to infinity according to the minerals and photographs of the chosen territories
